WHO AM I?
I am a dedicated public servant with a passion for bringing positive change to this community. My background in activism and advocacy has prepared me to take on the challenges of running for City Council. As a proud resident of this city, I am committed to making it a better place for all citizens.
MY VISION FOR THE CITY
My campaign is centered around three main pillars: economic development, community development, and animal welfare. I believe that by working together and investing in our city's future, we can create a more prosperous and equitable community for everyone. EXPERIENCE

Business
Partner in two businesses that are owned and operated by women.
I am a partner in a recent addition to Las Vegas, NM and the tourism related to history and culture. Myself and my partners offer historical Trolley rides throughout the community. We also work with local schools and colleges to provide tours for students and reading programs.
During the winter months, we offer haunted and Christmas light tours.

I am also owner of a print shop in one of the historic districts. But it is not an ordinary shop as we offer custom wood pieces which are hand painted, etching, custom shirts, printing, and a new 360 photobooth for events.

Education
Instructor at Luna Community College and New Mexico Highlands University in the Media Arts Department.

Graduated with a Masters in Fine Arts for Media Arts/Computer Science with emphasis in Interactive Design at NMHU. Earned honors and recognition on the Dean's List.

Nonprofit
Las Vegas San Miguel Chamber of Commerce.
I assisted in creating programs, seminars, and workshops to help teach businesses how to improve their digital presence.

While working at the LVSM Chamber of Commerce I was part of a team that was instrumental in reviving Jaycees of Las Vegas, Junior Chamber of Commerce.

Fashioning New Mexico
The first cohort of PICT students produced multimedia, interactive, and hands-on components for Fashioning New Mexico, the inaugural exhibition of the New Mexico History Museum in Santa Fe. Its grand opening was in May of 2009.
I was part of the team assisting in creating 3D laser objects of the historic clothing. I also assisted in the creation of an interactive website for the exhibit including a how to tie a tie and bow tie.

I was part of an amazing to who created an animation for Ernest Thomson Seton’s Wild at Heart exhibition for the New Mexico History Museum, 2011
Myself and two other graduate students assisted in the creation of an animated video, Mother Teal and the Overland Route, by Ernest Thompson Seton.
I was the editor while the other graduates were the artists who created this beautiful animation.

Tourism
Tourism North Central Region - New Mexico Hospitality Association
I was selected as a member of the Tourism department representing Las Vegas, NM. Soon after I became the secretary for the region.

I was top 3 for Tourism Professional of the year in the state of New Mexico.

Innovation
The New Mexico Technology Council awarded $500 Women in Technology scholarships to Virginia Marrujo and Jennifer Alexander. Both media arts students are participating in the university’s innovative Program for Interactive Cultural Technology, a partnership between the Media Arts Program and the New Mexico Department of Cultural Affairs.

Students from Drummond’s Design Projects for the Community fall semester class created Almas de la Plaza under his direction. The cutting-edge video art project explores northern New Mexico history from territory to statehood. It features lively monologues from local actors depicting prominent historical figures.
The multi-image video installation is the first of its kind for Las Vegas and is housed in the llfeld expansion of the historic Plaza Hotel, one of Las Vegas’ architectural landmarks.
